Why do you, a Motorcycle Owner, need a Motorcycle Insurance?

Reason #1
Your motorcycle may be partially damaged in an accident.

In the event of an accident such as a collision (with another motor vehicle, stationary object or human being), overturning, skidding, or overshooting, your motorcycle may be partially damaged. You may not have the ready cash to repair your motorcycle.

A Standard Insurance Motorcycle Insurance Policy will cover this under “Own Damage”.

Reason #2
Your motorcycle may be totally damaged and no longer repairable.

In the event of an accident such that your motorcycle becomes so heavily damaged that its estimated cost of repair is almost the worth of an undamaged motorcycle of similar brand, make and age, you may not have the ready cash to replace your motorcycle.

A Standard Insurance Motorcycle Insurance Policy will cover this under “Own Damage”.

Reason #3
Your motorcycle may be stolen.

Motorcycles are very susceptible to theft. Once its lock has been broken or cut, it can be easily stolen. Even without its lock being disabled, it may be lifted on its own and loaded onto a thief’s vehicle.

Aside from being stolen, a motorcycle can also be forcibly taken from its rider.

Should these unfortunate events happen to you, you may not have the ready cash to replace your motorcycle.

A Standard Insurance Motorcycle Insurance Policy will cover this under “Theft”.

Reason #4
You may figure in an accident, injuring yourself and/or your passenger.

Riding in a motorcycle exposes you to the risk of injury. Should you figure in an accident that results in injury, disability or death, you may not have the financial resources to pay for medical treatment (in the event of injury) or to provide some financial benefit to your loved ones (in the event of disability or death).

A Standard Insurance Motorcycle Insurance Policy will cover this under “Personal Accident” (PA Rider)

Reason #5
You may cause an accident that injures other people.

In the event of an accident where your motorcycle injures other people (also known as “third parties”) such as pedestrians and drivers/passengers of other vehicles, you may not have the financial, legal and professional resources needed to resolve matters with all those affected.

A Standard Insurance Motorcycle Insurance Policy will cover this under “Compulsory Third Party Liability (CTPL) and Excess Bodily Injury”.

Reason #6
You may cause an accident that damages other vehicles and properties.

In the event of an accident where your motorcycle damages other vehicles and stationary (non-moving) properties, you may not have the financial, legal and professional resources needed to resolve matters with all those affected.

A Standard Insurance Motorcycle Insurance Policy will cover this under “Voluntary Third Party Property Damage (VTPPD)”.

Reason #7
An Act of Nature may damage or destroy your motorcycle.

In the event that your motorcycle is damaged or destroyed by flood, typhoon, earthquake, volcanic eruption or some other convulsions of nature, you may not have the financial resources to repair or replace your vehicle.

A Standard Insurance Motorcycle Insurance Policy will cover this under “Acts of Nature”.
